What do you think of korra

What do you think? Place your vote! Oh no, of course not. A mary-sue is a perfect character with absolutely no flaws. I find Korra to be mary-sue-ish. Yes, Korra is very flawed, almost to the point of being too flawed. The writers made it so her flaws aid her A lot of people find Korra perfect and she can do no wrong, so my vote goes to a Mary-Sue. Korra is ridiculously flawed!! What are you talking about? Am I the only one who noticed this? And while the show finally finds its voice in seasons three and four—as the airbenders struggle to resurrect a culture and villains actually sort of have a reason for being—it never becomes the soul balm Avatar is.

Which is OK to say. You could even go as far as to say the show was designed to subvert audience expectations. The phrase has been both a point of praise and criticism for stories like Star Wars: The Last Jedi or Game of Thrones , but mostly criticism. The fights might not be as memorable to fans, but they are definitely pound for pound as good as those we saw in the original adventures of Aang. While you had some interesting antagonists such as Zuko for a time and Azula, the head of the Fire Nation wasn't nearly as complex as some of the villains we saw in the sequel series.

With the first season giving us the masked Amon who had a hatred for benders that allowed him to rally a group under his iron fist, Korra started things off with a bang with the very real possibility that she might lose her bending forever. While this is definitely an argument that fans will continue into the future, look no further for the best villains of the two series than in Legend of Korra's third season, a band of criminal benders led by the evil airbender Zaheer.

The villains in Korra are as complex as the heroes and definitely are worthy of the original series. Avatar The Last Airbender was fairly "adult", not being afraid to kill its characters when it needed to for the purposes of the story, but man does Korra go far further with this.

Well, Amon, Kuvira, and Zaheer all have that vibe going for them, too. Ozai is pretty one dimensional in comparison.

Not only that, but Republic City is pretty lame since the steampunk aesthetic is more of a distraction that anything else. But I personally like the old-timey, and yet, somewhat modern setting of Korra. But I do understand why many people hate it. Not a single one.

Counterpoint: I highly disagree with this one. I love Tenzen voiced by J. I adore Bolin, especially when he becomes a movie star.
