What is the difference between phil and teds sport v1 and v2

When looking at the Navigator V2 you get the impression that the seat is made for comfort. It appears very padded and luxurious. It is also firmly in place, so no sliding around of seat liners that other brands sometimes experience. The treat for us is that we have previously had to walk around our other strollers to apply the foot brake. We think this technology will become standard as time goes on and we love it! The quick and one-handed flat fold is great.

There is a double sided red button under the lip of the seat, just slide and pull the pushchair to fold in half. There are several places to then hold the stroller from moving into a car boot or storage area. The added option of being able to add a Double Kit is not one that every brand offers.

The Double Kit enables the Navigator to become an inline stroller, for more than one child. It stays just as thin so is still great for manoeuvring through doorways.

It enables you to take two children one toddler and one baby. However, I came to appreciate the major plus side of this design — you can easily release your child by just squeezing the release button, which was nice when my daughter was desperate to get out at the playground. It does. The boot of our W Golf is quite compact, but I found I could comfortably fit the pushchair in without removing the wheels which you can do and then pack a few shopping bags around it.

Parents who buy it when their child is a newborn, and later convert it to a double pushchair to also carry a second child, will get the most value. I was impressed by how easy it is to access though, thanks to a large opening at the back. With two small children, this is a huge plus as I can grab emergency wet wipes, water and snacks with ease.

I confess I struggle with instruction manuals and so both the assembly of the mudguards and the front wheel defeated me. But the cavalry husband found it all clicked into place quite simply! The flexibility of the Sport makes it a great option for parents who are considering growing their family in the near future and so want the option of a great single that can convert into a double for a newborn and toddler.

The auto-brake on the pushbar is definitely unique I was a fan but not everyone will be. The fact that it can used for light jogging and can also be converted into a double pushchair also make it stand out from other three-wheel single pushchairs.

I really liked using the Sport, and have happily retired my worn-out Baby Jogger City Mini to use the Sport as my everyday pushchair. I apologize for the delayed response, so I hope you have everything you need.

I would strongly caution against the Vibe. I am having an issue with my two year old unlocking the folding mechanism with his feet while he is seated in the double kit. The stroller has almost collapsed on him with my two month old on top in his car seat! The customer service is terrible as I have been explaining this issue to them and they refuse to refund or exchange it.

The manager, Jayson, says it has passed all international safety standards and this issue is a behavioral one for my child! So please heed my advice and do not purchase the Phil and teds vibe.

Your website is a lifesaver! I am expecting my first baby in September and feel like I have read everything on here multiple times. I am really struggling with finding a stroller. I really need something that can handle the terrain but it is hard to tell in the store how it will really work.

We plan on having several kids so the double seat is a nice option. Do you think this would be able to handle life in the country or is there something that may be better? Hi Carolyn — For country life, you really do need an all-terrain stroller. Those that upgrade to a double are more expensive and heavy, so one idea is just to wait until you actually need a double, then sell your single for a double.

Also, be sure to check Craigslist for nicer, used strollers. Always a bargain to be had! I have a 3. Our town has a few hills. What would you recommend? Good luck!

Keep checking those classifieds. But I also wanted a narrower one to fit thru doors. What is the lightest weight stroller option? No, please get yourself a Maxi Taxi from Maxi Cosi.

I was really looking or something a little slimmer and easy to travel with. Hi Meghan! Have you read our best double jogging stroller guide? Best of luck! Have heard great things about this stroller. Struggling to find the right one. Need a stroller that works in our hilly neighborhood, as well as on trails and beach, and can also do well in the city- but has some nice luxury features.

Just attempting to take advantage of whenever that mood strikes? I enjoy watching your vids and reading your reviews — they are so helpful! Hi Meri! You might be able to get away with some light jogging here or there but nothing too rigorous. Also, steer clear of super rocky trails. Otherwise, this sounds like the perfect stroller for your family! Are the classic and navigator the same dimensions unfolded? Hi Kim! The classic is 24 inches wide and weighs 24 lbs as a double.

The Navigator is 23 inches wide and weighs 31 lbs as a double. First off all I want to just say that this is such a great website! Super informative and user friendly. We recently bought the cortina BC we have the Chicco car seat, but it is pretty long and bulky and takes up half the hallway. Hi Brenda! Thanks for your kind words.

Thanks for the great article. My husband and I are expecting our first child in April We live in NYC. The auto stop feature is a must have for us. Can you recommend a car seat that would be compatible with this stroller? Any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you!! Hi Lori! Thanks so much for your review! We got the navigator 2 and I like both the looks and the functionality a lot. You mentioned that the double seat could be used as a rear-facing seat in single mode and I really wish to know how to do that.
